comfort. The four-story brick townhouse offers private
access to guestrooms off its Victorian central stairway, and the skylit breakfast room
upstairs overlooks the charming rooftops of one of Boston's most historic downtown
residential districts. "82's" spacious guestrooms are equipped with private baths; a pantry and wet-bar; comfortable queen size beds; direct-dial telephones; and individually controlled air conditioning. We're a smoke-free bed and breakfast. Each of the rooms is beautifully decorated in unique color schemes, and is filled with lovingly restored antiques and appointments that evoke memories of the home's original era. This residence dates back more than a century and many of the rooms boast fine details such as original fireplaces with intricately carved marble mantle pieces and wrought-iron filigree. Your day begins with a delicious array of assorted freshly-baked muffins, bagels, and breakfast pastries--always with an accompaniment of assorted fresh fruit. Freshly brewed coffee, tea and juice are served and flows plentifully. Served in our sunny penthouse overlooking the city, our breakfasts typically provide a family atmosphere and an opportunity for guests from around the world to meet, relax, and enjoy a second cup of coffee while comparing notes about their adventures in the city.
